4x4 Raised Garden Box

Our raised garden box is 4ft x 4ft and is 11.75" high with an open-bottom frame to support your garden.  Our unfinished hemlock frame is 1.5" in thickness and is left untreated, which means it is organic and safe for veggies and fruit to grow in.  The raised garden box holds 1/2 cubic yard of Greely's Topdressing Soil (organic).

No tools required! It is easy to assemble with dovetail interlocking joints, where each board slides in to the corner posts without tools to create a durable open-bottom garden frame.  Fill the hemlock garden box with Greely's Topdressing Soil (organic) up to 10" in height to allow displacement of soil when planting.

All our unfinished hemlock raised garden boxes are locally made by The WoodSource.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with the garden box, you must call the office at 613.821.3003 or email us within 3 business days of the delivery date/pick up of the garden box.  Returns of a new and unused garden box are accepted within 7 days of the purchase date.

Greely's Licensed Composting Facility

In 1999, Greely Sand & Gravel anticipated that topsoil would become less available, and by incorporating mature leaf and yard waste compost in to topsoil, it will increase the longevity of topsoil.  Mature leaf and yard waste compost increases soil structure, microbial activity, aeration, and water and nutrient retention.

Greely Sand & Gravel's facility is an Ontario Ministry of the Environment licensed compost facility.  Leaf and yard waste compost is produced as category AA compost, as deemed by CCME standards.  Greely Sand & Gravel is a proud member of the Composting Council of Canada and advocates composting for all our future.
