Eljen/Enviro Sand

Due to the City of Ottawa load restrictions, we are limited to a maximum of 8 cubic yards per load of Eljen/Enviro Sand from mid March until end of May.

Eljen/Enviro Sand is a washed course sand that is approved for Eljen Systems and Enviro Systems.  T-time is 6 to 8 minutes.

NOTE: Our Eljen/Enviro Sand DOES NOT meet filter media specifications.

Screened Sand

Due to the City of Ottawa load restrictions, we are limited to a maximum of 8 cubic yards per load of Screened Sand from mid March until end of May.

Natural screened sand.

  • Screened sand is also known as clean fill.
  • We cannot guarantee that this sand will meet specifications for building code.

Washed Sand

Due to the City of Ottawa load restrictions, we are limited to a maximum of 8 cubic yards per load of Washed Sand from mid March until end of May.

Choose either washed Brick Sand or washed Concrete Sand, depending on your project.

Applications for Brick Sand:

  • Also known as masonry sand
  • Used as a mix with cement for bricklaying, as it is finely textured sand
  • Used under pool liners

Ottawa Playground Sand

Due to the City of Ottawa load restrictions, we are limited to a maximum of 8 cubic yards per load of Ottawa Playground Sand from mid March until end of May.

Ottawa Playground Sand is the ideal choice for families, contractors, municipalities, and schools.  Our Ottawa Playground Sand has undergone an impact surface test to ensure safe sand for children. Grace-Kells Consultant Inc. performed a controlled laboratory impact surface test, which is outlined in the report titled New Playstructure Sand Testing (March 2001), designed by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
